Chef Tammy Anderson

COOKING IS LIKE LOVE, IT SHOULD BE ENTERED INTO WITH COMPLETE ABANDON, OR NOT AT ALL!

Chef Tammy's passion for cooking was fostered in her teen years as she cooked alongside her boyfriend Mitch Moody and his Aunt Donna, who trained at Le Cordon Bleu Paris. It was an incredible experience that sparked a lifelong obsession with the art and science of great food. In 1983, Tammy enlisted in the USAF, she received an honorable discharge in 1993 in order to fully utilize her educational benefits. Chef Tammy has an Associate in Applied Science in Baking and Pastry Arts from Johnson & Wales University, as well as an Associate in Applied Science in Culinary Arts from the Culinary Institute of America. She trained in Fine Dining at the American Bounty Restaurant and trained with Chefs Ewald Notter and Nicholas Lodge. In 1996, she opened Anderson's Bakery & Catering in Kathleen, Georgia. In 2012, Chef Tammy Married Mitch Moody and he introduced her to the world of Live Fire Cuisine.  Chef Tammy is now also a very accomplished and respected Professional Pitmaster.  Since Mitch Moody's sudden death in 2018, Chef Tammy continues to embrace Live Fire Cooking and has added more flare and culinary adventure to her business.  We look forward to dining with you soon!
