What is a Service Charge?

Your food choices can include Italian, French, Mediterranean, Greek, Halal, Middle Eastern, Tandoori, Wood-Fired Pizza, Hibachi-Teppanyaki, Korean BBQ, Southern BBQ, Brazilian-Argentinian BBQ, Whole Hog, Vegetarian, Vegan, Southern, Soul Food, Hawaiian, Cuban, Steakhouse, Latin, Authentic Taco's  & Mexican Cuisine, Cajun, French Crepes, German, Breakfast, Station Concepts, Custom Bakery, Heavy Appetizers, Farm-to-table, Sushi, Oysters, Seafood,  and Chocolate Fountains.  We offer To-Go, Plated meals, Buffet service, Custom Food Truck, and Pop-up dining, for Weddings, Galas, Corporate events, Special Events as well as for  intimate private dinners. 

 

Menus and Pricing are customized to suit your specific event.  We do have event pricing minimums.  Our current full service catered event minimum for a wedding  is $3,500.  The event minimum to bring our exciting  Carson Rodizio Roadcase kitchen setup starts at  $10K. 

 

 In addition to our menus, we also offer professional certified day of event catering management, vender communications, floorplan layout services, event & décor set-up and break-down services, specialty chefs, waitstaff, bartenders, and custodial staffing. 

 

Established in 1996, we are an award winning recognized leader in the industry.  We are fully licensed, inspected, certified, and insured.

We can comfortably accommodate any size crowd large or small.  We can easily provide a seated meal  for up to 850 guests without outsourcing.  You only need an approximate headcount to get pricing.  Your final headcount, event review, and  final payment will be due 14 days prior to your event date.

After your initial menu has been discussed, you can certainly schedule a tasting.  There is a nominal charge to cover supplies for this tasting.  The typical cost for tastings starts at $150.  We do charge a  non-refundable retainer of  $500 to hold your catering event date.  You will also be provided with a Banquet Event Order (BEO), a proposal, and a contract.  Proposal prices are valid for 30 days.  Prices may fluctuate with market place increases.

We also specialize in Wedding Cakes. Cake tastings are $25, which can be applied to your contracted price when you book our cake services.  We require a non-refundable 50% deposit. to secure your event date.

We are a full service catering event company.  We will provide a uniformed and professional staff to suit your needs and level of expectations.  

The service charge covers the caterer's administrative costs.  An "Event Production Fee" or "the cost of doing business" are some other options of how to think of it.  Some examples of where this fee goes are dishwashing, facility maintenance, packing for the event, travel time to and from the event, walk-throughs, floorplans, the sales staff's time they spend planning with you, etc.  Keep in mind that the service charge is NOT a gratuity.  It does not cover gratuities for the waitstaff.
